At Outdoor Shack we want to make your shopping experience enjoyable and stress free. Outdoor Shack offers free parcel delivery on small to regular parcels to most of Australia when you spend over $99, unfortunately we are unable to offer free delivery for large or heavy parcels, express services and to some regional areas. Although you will find our rates very competitive.

FREE GROUND SHIPPING (Normally 3-8 Business Days)

  • Excludes Express Shipping
  • Total value of products ordered must be over $99
  • The delivery address must be within Australia

  • Outside metropolitan areas, delivery times may vary.
  • Some regional areas may be excluded from offer. 
  • Free shipping offer is calculated by parcel weight, dimensions vrs destination. (this may vary depending on your destination, please check shipping calculator in cart to see if you qualify for free shipping)

STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING (Normally 3-8 BUSINESS DAYS)

  • The delivery address must be within Australia
  • The item must not be considered bulky (see below)

EXPRESS SHIPPING (Normally 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS)

LARGE & BULKY ITEMS

  • Products/Orders labelled as large either have an actual or cubic weigh between 3-25kg (Weight limit varies depending on destination, please check shipping calculator in cart to see your shipping charges).
  • Products/Orders labelled as bulky either have an actual weigh more than 25kg or a measurement greater than 1.05m. 
  • If your order is labelled as bulky in the shipping calculator you can choose for a store pick-up only or you can request a quote by Contacting us
We use Australia Post, Fastway Couriers and a network of reputable and reliable couriers. Depending on your location, the item's size, weight and dimensions of your order we aim to use the best method available to get your order to your door as quickly and securely possible. 

STORE PICKUP

  • If you require a product urgently, or live locally Outdoor Shack offers a store pick up facility. You can purchase online and collect the goods from our store in Collaroy NSW. 
  • Unfortunately some Bulky & Heavy products such as large tents, canoes and kayaks are not available for shipping and are designated for store pick up only.

    If you would like to collect your order from our store simply choose store pickup option when selecting you freight preference at checkout.

 


International Orders

  • Outdoor Shack does ship internationally however we are unable to process orders during the checkout process.
  • If you would like to make a international order inquiry please Contact us for a international shipping quote.
  • If you agree to the shipping we will then send you a PayPal transfer request via email where you will be able to make your secure payment
  • We ship our orders via DHL and generally orders take between 5-10 days depending on your location
  • A tracking email will be sent to you by DHL when your order is collected from our store

 

Dispatch & Estimated Delivery Times

  • Order dispatches and deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday.
  • We aim to dispatch orders twice daily
  • If any items ordered are out of stock we will notify you by email, these orders will take an additional 5-7 working days. Please read below
  • In general, delivery times will range from 3-8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • If your order is likely to exceed 10 business days we’ll contact you.
  • Outside metropolitan areas, delivery times may vary.

 


 

Order Tracking

  • After ordering you will be sent an email, in this email you will be supplied with a tracking number, use this number when you go to the nominated couriers website to track your order 

 


 

Order Receiving

UPDATED POLICY MEASURE TO COMBAT FRAUD -  WE NOW REQUIRE THAT PROOF OF ID IS VERIFIED BY THE DELIVERY DRIVER UPON RECEIVING OR YOUR GOODS FOR ALL ORDERS PAID BY CREDIT CARD OVER $150.

  • Deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday.
  • All orders will require Proof of ID and a verified signature on delivery.
  • Authority To Leave. Outdoor Shack does not encourage Authority to Leave, if requested we will require Proof Of Identity prior to order dispatch. Outdoor Shack will not be liable for any missing orders once parcel tracking is registered as delivered.
  • Depending on the Carrier, delivery to Post Office Boxes may not available, we may contact you to arrange an alternative delivery option.
  • If no one is available to sign for delivery, a delivery card will be left detailing how you can collect your parcel, or have it redelivered if this service is available.
  • Please inspect the package for damage before signing. If the package is damaged but the contents look unaffected, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing. If the package is damaged to an extent the contents may be damaged, please refuse delivery and call us on 02 9981 6933 

 

 


 

Freight Returns

  • If you discover a problem after you've accepted delivery, please call us on 02 99816933
  • We may be able to resolve the problem without requiring you to return the item.
  • You should retain all packing material, manuals, swing tags, etc. until you're completely satisfied with the condition and performance of your purchase. Doing so will make it easier to return the item if necessary.
  • If you wish to return or exchange such an item please refer to Returns and Exchanges 

 


 

Shipping Discrepancies

  • All orders are wrapped and packaged to ensure they arrive complete and in sound condition.
  • However if a discrepancy arises with your delivery please report it to us within 5 business days of receipt.

 

ImportantCustomers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. All risks and costs associated with providing an incorrect delivery address shall remain with customers.

 


 

Out of Stock Items 

  • Sometimes the product you select is temporarily unavailable. Whenever this occurs we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of the delayed dispatch date.
  • You will have the option of waiting for the item to arrive, choose an alternative item, or cancel your order and receive a refund of payment.
  • Orders of more than one product are generally not split unless specifically requested.

 

Back orders

At Outdoor Shack we try our best to have all products displayed in stock unless labelled otherwise. However, sometimes our stock levels may not fulfil your order request. When this occurs you see this notification in the Cart. ”This product is not available in the requested quantity. # of the items will be back ordered.

You can;

a) Adjust your cart quantities so order can be fulfilled complete; or

b) Proceed to check out and have the unfulfilled amount placed on back order. Once placed on back order 

  • You will be notified by email within 2 Business day with an expected time of delivery.
  • Within 24hrs of this notification you will have the option to;

    a) Request for an partial dispatch for the available items or or send complete
    b) Cancel your order, after this 24hr period no cancellations will be accepted.
  • We do not partially dispatch back ordered items unless specially requested.

In most cases back orders will take 7-12 days to deliver. If any unexpected delays with your order exist, you will be notified with the option to cancel your back order

 


 

Stock Status Labels

 

In store Only Items

  • In store only items are products that a) are too bulky to ship i.e. Kayaks or b) products that have online trade restrictions

In store & Online Items

  • Instore & Online products are in most cases available and ready for immediate shipping or store pick up

Online Only Items

  • Online Only Items are products that we don't normally carry as a regular stocked item for the below reasons.
    • In order to offer you the best prices 
    • Products with short expiration dates such food and some battery operated products.
    • Distributor offers Drop Shipping or normally delivers to store within 48hrs
  • These products are either ordered from the distributor after order placement or dropped shipped from the distributor. 
  • Online Only products can take up to an extra 5-12 days for delivery, we will notify you of any unexpected delays
  • Stock availability is subjected to the distributors inventory records. Although we take all measures to keep this information updated occasionally these products can be unavailable at time of order. We will notify you if this occurs and you can have the option place on backorder or cancel your order

Pre-Order Items

Outdoor Shack offers Pre-Order items based on the following reasons:

  • Yet to arrive products that are in high demand
  • Products that are on back order from the distributor
We will notify you with Delivery estimates on Pre-Order products unless advised

Special Order Items

  • Special Order items are products that need ordering by our distributors from the manufacturer.
  • Orders can take up to 6-8 Weeks
  • No cancellations on special order items
